Plungė Adolfas Jucys Progymnasium– Since September 1, 2018

Plungė Adolfas Jucys Progymnasium (hereinafter referred to as the Progymnasium) is a municipal budgetary institution of Plungė District Municipality (code 191130079), located at A. Vaišvilos St. 32, LT-90127, Plungė. The Progymnasium provides primary and lower secondary education, including individualized programs, as well as non-formal education activities. All instruction is delivered in the Lithuanian language.

The Progymnasium operates across two locations: its main building at A. Vaišvilos St. 32 and the “Saulės” division at Birutės St. 25A, Plungė.

Organizational Structure

The Progymnasium’s administrative team includes the Principal, Vice Principals for Education, and a Vice Principal for Facilities Management.

The school’s self-governance bodies include:

  • The Teachers’ Council
  • The Students’ Council
  • The Parents’ Forum

Students

As of January 1, 2025, the Progymnasium had 401 students enrolled in grades 1–8:

  • 183 students in grades 1–4
  • 218 students in grades 5–8

The “Saulės” division had an additional 38 students in grades 1–4.
